Certified Nurse Assistant: Classroom or Online Class options

Welcome to our innovative Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program, designed to offer flexibility and convenience without compromising on the quality of education and training. This comprehensive program combines online learning with in-person practical training to provide aspiring CNAs with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience necessary for success in the healthcare field.

Complementing the online learning experience is the in-person component, where participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world clinical settings under the guidance of experienced instructors. Through hands-on practice sessions, participants will develop proficiency in essential CNA tasks, such as patient care, vital signs monitoring, infection control, and more.

The Hybrid CNA Program covers a comprehensive curriculum that includes topics such as:

  • Introduction to Healthcare 
  • Basic Nursing Skills
  • Medical Terminology and Anatomy
  • Patient Care Procedures
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Safety and Infection Control: 
  • Cultural Competence
  • Professionalism and Career Development

Upon successful completion of the Hybrid CNA Program, participants will be eligible to take the state certification exam to become licensed CNAs. With their comprehensive training and hands-on experience, graduates will be well-equipped to pursue rewarding careers in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, and more.

Tuition: $1600 Classroom or Online

Registration Fee: $ 150 (non- refundable); FREE WITH TUITION GRANT ASSISTANCE APPROVAL

Payment Plan: Payment plans are available with AfterPay. The tuition and Lab fee will be divided into 4 Easy payments with 0% interest

Successful completion of the Nursing Assistant Training program requires the student to
complete the following:
a. Participate in all class, skills, and clinical sessions.
b. Maintain a minimum overall 80% grade.
c. Satisfactorily complete the required clinical hours and skills.
d. Successfully pass all clinical skills.

Summer In-Person Classroom Schedules

Option 1: (6 week course Day) Theory Classes are offered on campus in Rancho Cucamonga on Monday – Thursday 8:00am– 4:30pm.

Clinicals are available on Monday-Thursdays 7:00am-3:30pm at a local Skilled Nursing Facility. 

 Option 2: (11 week course) Weekend Theory Classes are offered on campus Thursday-Sunday 4:00pm-9:30pm. 

Clinicals are available on Saturday & Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm at a local skilled nursing facility. 

**Skills Practice Labs are scheduled on Fridays or Saturdays in Ontario, CA**

 

Online Evening and Clinical Schedule

6 week course Online Theory Classes are offered online via Zoom on Thursday – Sunday 4pm-9:30pm. 

Clinicals will be scheduled at local skilled nursing facility: Weekday Clinicals Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm

This 40-hour training program is designed to equip Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with the essential skills and knowledge required to provide competent and compassionate care in a home health setting. The course focuses on preparing CNAs to deliver high-quality care to patients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Throughout the duration of this course, participants will engage in a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on practical training, facilitated by experienced instructors in the field of home healthcare. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics essential for CNA proficiency in the home health environment.

Our experienced instructors will guide participants through a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on practical training, fostering an interactive and engaging learning experience. Through simulated home health scenarios and clinical simulations, CNAs will have the opportunity to apply their newfound knowledge in a safe and supportive environment, honing their skills and building their confidence.

Moreover, this course goes beyond the basics, delving into advanced topics such as chronic disease management, wound care, and mental health support. Participants will also explore the ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations inherent in providing care in the home setting, ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of real-world practice.

  • Ages 16 or above (must have parent or guardian permission if under 18)
  • Valid Government Photo ID (Driver License/State ID, Passport etc) 
  • Social security card or Tax ID Number (TIN) letter from IRS
